How to Update Firmware
Firmware updates are provided in the Java jar executable format and will run on any operating system with the Java runtime. When downloading these updates, please ensure that they are saved as .jar files. Some browsers will try to rename them to .zip. If this occurs, manually change the file extension back to .jar.
To run the update, double click the file or right click and open with Java. The program will guide you through the update process. If you are having trouble launching the program please reference JarFix for windows or search for "how to run Java jar files" on your platform.
NOTE: If the firmware version you are loading has a lower or equal version number to your current firmware you will need to check the Force Update checkbox.
Firmware updates should only be applied over a local network connection.
Note: Firmware updates require the Java runtime available here: http://www.java.com/en/download
