New installation - State: No connection

Post by Will » Sat Aug 12, 2017 5:10 pm

I just wired up my new Autelis pool controller. My current indoor pool control is a Jandy Aqualink RS6 Allbutton. I wired in the Autelis controller at the pool equipment box and connected the Autelis to my home Wi-Fi with a TP-Link nano wireless router. Somewhat surprisingly, I was able to find the Autelis fairly easily on my network and log in to it. Unfortunately, it shows the status as "No connection". I checked the wires carefully and it is wired correctly. The hard wired Aqualink in the house still functions fine. Not sure what to do next. How do I find the firmware version of my Aqualink system? The guide says it needs to be Rev. I or higher.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

On your allbutton keypad go to the diagnostics menu. It should display the firmware version. If it is less than I then you can install the legacy firmware from the wiki.

Thanks

Thanks! I had to google how to get in to diagnostics. I'm version HH. So, it looks like I need the legacy firmware. I'll check into the legacy firmware and post the results.

Legacy firmware did the trick. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
